This one-bedroom apartment renovation in Vida Residences, Dubai Marina took a compact unit in a bold, dramatic direction — black marble, smoked oak and warm amber lighting that turn a small footprint into something cinematic. We wrapped the kitchen and bathroom in book-matched dark stone, built a concealed laundry into the joinery, and used backlighting to give the open-plan living and sleeping space depth and warmth. D5 handled the whole project in-house — interior design, Dubai Municipality approvals, construction, joinery and FF&E — so the finished apartment matched the concept exactly, with one team accountable from first sketch to handover.
